A very fun story, though written for a very narrow audience. Lots of very specific references that most people wouldn't understand to TV shows, music, and geek culture. Will read a sequel though, but I hope that the author goes wide and makes it more enjoyable for the average reader.Product details

Another King Arthur story? Really? But wait, this one is cool. Magic and guns=loads of fun. There are familiar characters as well as new fodder, er, characters to add to the mix of this already rich tale. The story drew me in immediately, started off quick and never slowed down. The story resonates with Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson books. but leaves them behind with a darkness and maturity that isn't in the other two. Still there is plenty of fun to be had.
There are a lot of characters right at the beginning, and setting up the story takes a little bit of time, but it's worth it.
This was a fun book. I was sad to see it end.
Some folks may think the text was light if you're used to Tolkein like heavy but it was refreshing.
Got this the night it was free on . I stayed up all night reading the book. I could not put it down and am waiting, impatiently, for the next book.
I loved the past reflected into a modern erra. The struggle of good and evil ageless and so well represented throughout the book. A captivating story line. I will read it again and hope the second book comes out soon.
I've always loved the story of Camelot. This story picks up where your own imagination probably left off and takes you on an unexpected and thrilling journey. Such a great story and the ending leaves you craving more and looking forward to Volume 2 with baited breath!! Cannot wait!
I really enjoyed the story of Camelot and how the bloodline of Arthur might still exist today. The writing is incredible and keeps you turning the pages. I can't wait for the second book.
I was so excited to hear this story was being published in book form as it was difficult for me to read as a serial online. I enjoyed reading Lineage and its unique take on the King Arthur's tale. It had a little of everything- romance, cool weaponry, fighting, magic and a bit of British vernacular (which I love). Knowing more about magic, weapons and the story of King Arthur would have helped as I read because I was a bit confused with some of the magic terms, weapons and characters. I'm glad there is a sequel coming and look forward to learning more about the characters. Lineage is a fantastic fantasy novel and I would definitely recommend it to others. If you like fantasy, magic and the story of King Arthur- Read This Book!
